Android Developer – Delhi (Full-Time)

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Android Developer to join our growing development team in Delhi. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of professional experience in Android application development and a passion for building high-quality, user-friendly mobile applications.

You will work closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to develop, test, and maintain Android applications that deliver exceptional performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
2. Build scalable, responsive, and user-friendly mobile applications.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement technical solutions.
4. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following Android development best practices.
5. Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and backend services.
6. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
7. Conduct unit testing and ensure application quality before release.
8. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
9. Keep up to date with the latest Android technologies, tools, and development trends.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, or a related field.
2. 1–2 years of professional experience in Android application development.
3. Strong proficiency in Java and a good understanding of Kotlin.
4. Experience with Android Studio, Android SDK, and Gradle build system.
5. Knowledge of Android application lifecycle, UI design principles, and Material Design guidelines.
6. Experience integrating REST APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries.
7. Familiarity with SQLite, Room Database, or other local storage solutions.
8. Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
9. Experience with Git and version control systems.
10. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
11. Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience publishing applications on the Google Play Store.
2. Knowledge of Jetpack components, MVVM architecture, and Android Architecture Components.
3. Familiarity with Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, etc.).
4. Experience with push notifications and background services.
5. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated app deployment.
6. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
